As one of the first Arts Council Funded Creative People and Places projects, Transported are an organisation who aim to provide arts opportunities and increase arts engagement in the Boston Borough and South Holland districts of Lincolnshire. At Electric Egg we have been working with Transported from the very outset to document and promote through film and photography this diverse and accessible arts project.
Since the project started in 2013, we have made over 15 films documenting countless events and workshops, featuring silk paintings, lantern parades, carnivals, theatrical productions inside a mobile library and everything else in between!
We have also had the opportunity to work as artists on the Transported programme which has been a very rewarding process. Projects we have worked on have ranged from outdoor sketching activities called Sketchcrawls, creating digital stained glass windows in The Crowland Project to creating art on lorries with our Fenland Folk series. See individual project pages for more information on these projects.
