Inspired by Crowland Abbey and its ruined west front, this installation was created with the consultation and participation of the local community. The film is a reimagining of a stained glass window for the 21st Century. Commissioned by Transported, an Arts Council England funded Creative People and Places project, the installation celebrates the history of the Abbey and its value to the community in which it is situated. Steven Hatton of Electric Egg spent several days onsite at the Abbey to record the memories of local people which were incorporated into the installation which was exhibited for several weeks in the Abbey.
