The Baker Dearing Educational Trust is a charity established to support and develop University Technical Colleges in England.

Our brief was to celebrate and promote the way in which a UTC education kickstarts UTC alumni into exciting technical careers, shining a light on the unique way in which UTCs create work ready students in STEM subjects.

For this video production, we mixed aspect ratios within the film, using a cinematic widescreen frame to portray the alumni in their working environment and a squarer format for educational content filmed in UTCs, to give the alumni sections a more aspirational and epic feel.

This video production was filmed at 5 locations across the UK including Lincolnshire, the Midlands and Yorkshire, from a building site for a new station alongside a live railway to workshops and labs within UTC colleges.
