The Lincoln School of Film and Media, has a diverse and energetic research culture with a collaborative and supportive ethos. Electric Egg created a series of films for LSFM to explore the schools ethos and the various strands of research that the school engages with. Whilst some research was very applied, other research projects were rather abstract so Electric Egg created self-reflexive and at times experimental promotional films to engage with the issues and concepts being explored by LSFM.
The aim of the films were to communicate the research interests of the school to promote the school as a place to undertake postgraduate and doctoral research.
Archive material and excepts from films created by the academics within the schools were also used within these pieces.
At Electric Egg we relish the challenge of working on films that engage with academic and intellectual concepts as we feel that the medium of film is an excellent way of making such content and ideas accessible to a wider audience.
